SSMD (School of Staff and Ministry Development)
The School of Staff and Ministry Development is a 2-year program, designed to facilitate the growth and maturity of new staff of any age at YWAM Seamill in their identity, calling and ministry. This program is based on the idea of an internship – learning ‘on the job’. Each participant is coming to join the YWAM Seamill community and to staff and serve in a particular ministry while having input, mentoring, and training.
SWS (School of Word and Spirit)
The School of the Word and Spirit (SWS) is a 6 weeks introduction to relational study and overview of the Scriptures. The course is for those over 18 and proficient in English who wish to learn together how to follow the leading of the Spirit in learning the Story of God through the Word. The aim is a life lived from a strong spirit, greater awareness of spirit connectedness with God and keeping that connection whilst studying the Bible. The school of the Word and Spirit is not teaching about the Bible but rather studying it together in workshop style activities, so that it can be multiplied in any context.
School of Well-being
The Homecoming is a two week member care retreat designed for any full time Christian worker who feels close to burn out or simply in need of some TLC (tender loving care). We desire to welcome you to come to Seamill as our guest to be refreshed, encouraged, and strengthened in the Lord. Are you giving your life to reach the unreached with only a few opportunities to just receive life yourself? Homecoming is an opportunity for Seamill to serve you by pouring the resources of our community into you, so you can continue pouring into others.
