Be the Leader God Wants You to Be, or b2b, is a creative, week-long intensive designed to help you explore your leadership potential and grow as a leader in order to equip others.

Who is this school for?

This course is for anyone looking to explore or expand their leadership potential. Whether you are just stepping into a new leadership role, have already staffed a DTS or two, or have even been leading a team for a few years, this course will meet you where you are at and help you grow in your leadership skills.

Schedule

Our schedule will be from 8:30am to 6pm every day and will include interactive lectures, workshops, small-group work and assignments. Meals are provided.

What’s involved in the training?

The b2b training will give you practical steps to develop you as a leader. It’s not just a bunch of lectures—there are activities, games, workshops and opportunities to encounter God.

We use an interactive teaching style. Over the week, you will meet in a few different groupings to maximize the learning experience—peer groups, process groups led by experienced leaders, and one-to-one meetings to help work through your personal questions. There will be times of worship, ministry and experiencing God together.

Meet Stephe and Rite Mayers

Course Leaders | Leadership Development

Stephe and Rite began their involvement with YWAM over 45 years ago. Their passion is leadership development. After being a part of national and regional leadership in YWAM Europe, Stephe and Rite spent a decade running a leadership retreat centre in Spain, where they trained thousands of leaders and teachers. They have recently moved to Calgary, Canada. Stephe is from England and Rite is from Canada. They have three adult children and five grandchildren.
