There are a few steps to the application process. This keeps your personal information safer because you only share it with us when it is required.

Please note: You must be 18 years old on the start date of the DTS you are applying for!

Our course registrar will guide you throughout the process and can answer any questions.

Your data will be processed and held in line with our Privacy Policy.

Stage 1

During the first stage we’ll get to know you and you can learn more about a DTS at the Seamill Centre. After we receive your application, fee, references, and talk with you during an online interview, the team will review your application and let you know if you have been offered a conditional place on the DTS.

Stage 2

Acceptance on the course is subject to a clear background check. This is part of our commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults. Citizens of some countries may also require a visa to enter the UK. In stage 2, the DTS team can guide you through these next important steps.

Background Check
After you’ve received a conditional acceptance, we’ll suggest ways for you to complete a criminal background check. This might be through a national police check in some countries or a service provider. Costs vary by country, usually just an admin fee.
Visa
We will advise you how to apply for any necessary visa to enter the UK. Please do not begin this process until advised by the DTS team.
Arrival Info
If you accept an offer to join the course by paying the deposit (applied toward your fees), we will ask for some additional information so we can get ready for your arrival.
