FULL TIME STAFF

We are a community of people that seeks to abide in the Lord’s presence and longs to be more like Jesus. We aim to be a hub for training and spiritual deepening in YWAM. We want to establish consistent and growing prayer and worship rhythms. And we want to see the people of Ayrshire come to know and love Jesus.

We need your help! We are a growing team of believers who strongly feel God’s call to serve God in Scotland, and from there, the nations.

We offer two paths to staffing with us. If you have experience in ministry and a defined calling, then come and join the team that best matches your giftings. Or, if you would benefit from being discipled as you explore your callings and giftings, then consider joining staff through our School of Staff and Ministry Development.

*Please note that all YWAM staff raise their own support and successful completion of a DTS is a prerequisite to joining a full time position at YWAM Seamill.

MISSION BUILDERS

Are you in a season of searching for the next step? Or do you need time away with God and are willing to serve in practical ways? Mission builders can join our community for a short time (two weeks to one year) to support what God is doing at YWAM Seamill. Whether it’s helping in the kitchen, aiding the hospitality team, or beautifying our garden, we welcome the help!

Missions builders are not required to have completed a DTS.

Media Team

We believe that what God does is worth telling everyone about. Whether it’s posting on Instagram or writing a newsletter, we want to share His Gospel through every platform we have. Everything exists because God communicates. Will you join us in imitating Him?

Backbone Team

We believe that there is no division between sacred work and secular work, but that any work can be holy and consecrated to the Lord. From managing accounts to mowing the lawn, we rely on our backbone team to help our base be a place of beauty where others can come to meet with God and be trained to go into the nations. Our current team needs are admin, facilities, grounds, hospitality and kitchen.

Ministries

We want to bring people one step closer to Jesus in everything we do. Do you love meeting God in nature? Then consider joining our Live in Awe team. Do you have a heart for impacting Scotland? Join our local outreach team as we brainstorm creative ways to reach out to our community and local churches. Do you have a gift for drawing people into worship or interceding on behalf of others? Come be a part of our prayer and worship team as they lead us in weekly rhythms of abiding in Him.

Schools

DTS is at the heart of YWAM–and we need people to staff it! Our training staff will humbly come alongside DTS trainees as they grow in knowing God and practice making Him known. We also would love to have people come and staff our secondary schools so that we can continue to grow in what training we offer.
